Utah Tech Repair is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or damage to data, files, or software that may occur while your device is in our possession. We strongly recommend that all customers back up their data prior to service. By leaving your device with us, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
Additionally, while we take every precaution to protect your equipment, Utah Tech Repair is not liable for any pre-existing conditions, unforeseen complications, or hardware failures that may arise during or after the repair process.
By using our services, you agree to these terms.
30-Day Limited Warranty
All services, repairs, and hardware upgrades performed by Utah Tech Repair include a 30-day warranty on labor.
If, within 30 days of the original service date, a part installed by Utah Tech Repair fails due to a manufacturer defect, we will reinstall a replacement part at no additional labor cost, provided that the customer supplies the new part.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, power surges, or unauthorized modifications.
- Situations where a subsequent upgrade or physical alteration to the system has restricted access to the originally installed part.
- Any issue unrelated to the original repair or upgrade.
In such cases, additional labor or service fees may apply. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and service performed.
30-Day Equipment Abandonment Policy
By leaving any hardware with Utah Tech Repair, you agree to our Equipment Abandonment Policy.
Devices left unclaimed for 30 days after service completion or final contact will be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the information provided at the time of service. If no response is received within this 30-day period, Utah Tech Repair reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, or repurpose the equipment at our discretion. Any data remaining on the device may be permanently erased.
Utah Tech Repair is not liable for any loss, damage, or claims resulting from the disposal of abandoned equipment.
To avoid abandonment, please pick up your device promptly or contact us to make arrangements.
